A few insights from our initial B2B experience. Our first PetCare B2B Exchange platform was very easy to use. We had a number of very efficient back-to-back meetings via video that worked well, facilitating good discussion that produced many meaningful follow up sessions and opportunities for our customer teams. I liked having the ability to include associates from our company in their offices around the country or wherever they choose to be; it was helpful and important to have them in certain meetings with their buyers and category managers. This system is a very cost-effective way to reach our business partners easily—with reduced travel, reduced costs and a more effective use of our time. We would not have had the opportunity to meet with many of these customers were it not for the video B2B session. I liked the inclusion of thought leadership/trends presentation from Nielsen at the beginning of the day –They set the stage very well by providing critical industry data and insights as a way to inspire conversations with our buyers.
